[tex]\frac{xy^2-3z}{3}[/tex]

x = 12, y = 8, and z = 3

Substitute their values in the expression above

[tex]\frac{(12)(8)^2-3(3)}{3}[/tex]

At first find 8^2

8^2 = 64

Multiply 3 by 3

3 * 3 = 9

[tex]\frac{12(64)-9}{3}[/tex]

Now multiply 12 by 64

12 * 64 = 768

[tex]\frac{768-9}{3}=\frac{759}{3}[/tex]

Simplify the fraction by dividing up and down

[tex]\frac{759}{3}=253[/tex]

The value of the expression is 253
