First, let's solve for x=4. (4+4)(2(4)-a)=0. 8(8-a)=0. 64-8a=0. -8a=-64. a=8.
Next, for x=-4. ((-4)+4)(2(-4)-a)=0. (0)(-8-a)=0. 0=0.
So the value of a is 8.

Hope this helps, and please Branliest me if it did!
